Booming at the box offices just within the first week of its release Hancock is the anti-hero, whiskey drinking Will Smith with super powers.
Ever since “Independence Day” coming out in 1996 for the 4th of July holiday, Will Smith has successfully started his “Big Willie’s Holiday Weekend” followed by box office boom of “Men in Black I” in 1997 and “Wild Wild West” in 1999.
This Holiday Weekend, opening on July 2nd, “Hancock, drowns the box office with just the first couple of days for $66million. Within the first week, grosses up to $107.3million.
It is a blockbuster movie, filled with many close ups, powerful action shots, dressed in a cute story tasseled with light humor.
