Joaquin Phoenix, the debate still lives.

I need to get Rowling’s number and let her know that Hagrid is ALLIIVEEE!!! And Joaquin Phoenix is one hell of a comedian.

As they say all great artists steal, and Ben Stiller did his best to thieve the very soul from Joaquin at the Oscars, but my friend, Joaquin is one of a kind deal. Sure I laughed my ass off at Stiller’s presentation. Isn’t that the point? Isn’t it all a joke? Isn’t it? Isn’t it?? Am I going crazy thinking about it?!!
Alright, you’ve got me. It’s true. I am Joaquin Phoenix groupie. I spend nights cuddling with my pillow watching “Walk the Line” quietly sobbing like there’s no tomorrow. The HE-man great actor has left the building to perform sad rap for two-year old’s in a Yenta get-up. Why Joaquin, why??!!

Born October 28th, 1974, in Puerto Rico, Joaquin Phoenix, is an actor musician and occasional rapper.
Day before his birthday, 2008 Joaquin announced his withdrawal from the film industry in order to devote more time to his musical career.
His last film, “Two Lovers” starring Gweneth Paltrow and Isabella Rossellini, premiered in theaters late November, 2008 leading as the top ten bestsellers of opening week. Here is to say, Joaquin is not loosing touch with his acting side, rather… his shocking presentation during David Lettermen Feb. 11th, pulled a few of us of our seat.

But, alas, in this world of comedy I can honestly say at this moment that Joaquin is a genius. It is bold to say in such an outburst for our future rapper, Joaquin’s incredible performance during the Leterman’s show, we were swooned as per usual with the incredulous amounts of medication commercial breaks, conveniently so, as if to insinuate Joaquin’s strange presentation. We as a society have grown accustomed to problem solving in pillboxes. Due to my sniveling during my raptures of the Grand Phoenix Enlightenment, I am now guilty for taking cough medicine. I am not saying that there is no need for medication- I am saying that over time, we’ve become used to the idea of over analyzing human nature.
So here is Joaquin Phoenix, a person we have seen grace the screen with many powerful performances such as “We own the night” “Hotel Rwanda”, “Quills” and every time embody a human being as its very core. As he now steps out of what we the public view as “normal”, he is on the judgement stand.
He has analyzed, he has become, and he has understood something of his character(s) that we as movie-goers could only dream of approaching. And now, the joke is on us as he is being over-analyzed.
He is one of the finest actors of the industry, and at this moment, I tip my hat to his brilliance yet again.
And even in the slightest, is only media that would rather reason with Mr. Phoenix for his possible drug abuse that would lead to unspeakable behavior.

Shoot - my train’s here. Can’t wait for civilians and muggles to catch up with my heart strings. Platform 9 and three quarters awaits!
