Fox-Bay Drama
Apparently I live under a rock since, midst my net browsing I came up on some dramatic news I should have been posting weeks ago. Alas, my slacking, I’ve arranged to indulge you in yet another version of the dramatic outbreaks in the Transformer-land.
Dumbfounded at reading about this call out, I decided to further explore Megan Fox and her attempts at success in the film industry.
Who is Megan Fox? And why does she think she has the right to publicly criticize and insult the man that practically created her?
According to the letter written and exposed by set crew members;
Michael found this shy, inexperienced girl, plucked her out of total obscurity thus giving her the biggest shot of any young actresses’ life. He told everyone around to just trust him on his choice. He granted her the starring role in Transformers, a franchise that forever changed her life; she became one of the most googled and oogled women on earth. She was famous! She was the next Angelina Jolie, Hooray! Wait a minute, two of us worked with Angelina- second thought-she’s no Angelina. You see, Angelina is a professional.
Megan Fox born May of 1986, began her acting career in 2001. At first she guest starred a few TV shows , such as ‘Two and a Half Men’ and ‘What I Like About You’.
Her big break and recognition prompted the role of Micaela Banes in Transformers- the sexy hot desirable, perfect girlfriend in the mind of Sam Witwicky; a role played by Shia LeBeouf.
It is easy to steer away from personality when you are in the spot light. However it is also important to keep up with your fans and employers on a professional level, which Ms Fox, clearly lost upon this dramatic outburst.
In an interview recently Fox gave herself the title of trailer trash by publicly bashing on Michael Bay.
He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he’s not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he’s so awkward, so hopelessly awkward. He has no social skills at all. And it’s endearing to watch him.
In Bay’s defense the letter posted by a couple of set crew members explains this woman’s “ungrateful and classless attitude”.
Megan has the press fooled. When we read those magazines we wish we worked with that woman. Megan knows how to work her smile for the press. Those writers should try being on set for two movies, sadly she never smiles. The cast, crew and director make Transformers a really fun energetic set/ We’ve traveled around the world together, so we have never understood why Megan was always such- the grump of the set?
Michael Bay, steering away from this public quarrel, responds on his site:
I don’t condone the crew letter to Megan. And I don’t condone Megan’s outlandish quotes. But her crazy quips are part of her crazy charm. The fact of the matter I still love working with her, and I know we still get along. I even expect more crazy quotes from her on Transformers 3.
-Side note: Transformers 3 is expected to be out as early as 2011, and surprisingly we will be seeing Megan Fox in it, after all -
In the aftermath of such dramatic outcome of thoughtless responses, Megan Fox has recently confessed to Rolling Stones magazine about her awful temper, and that in the past she has often harmed herself, furthermore, she admits threatening to murder her boyfriend Brian Austin Green in fits of anger.
Such negative expression of character for Megan might simply imply an attempt to take her away from her star shining light. After all maybe she doesn’t want to be the Hottest Hollywood star, but rather drama filled queen.
Besides, with this outburst, Fox is not doing a great job promoting her new film “Jennifer’s Body” directed by Karyn Kusama (The L Word) and written by recent Oscar winner Diablo Cody (Juno). Plot line steers toward a cheesy horror flick; opened this Friday the 18th of September.
Alas, Megan Fox, Stop drenching your fame and glory in gasoline! Next time the match lit might affect you more than you think.
